Maintenance Tech II Job Description:

Maintenance Tech II will be responsible for providing journey level maintenance\ support to owners and businesses in the Spaeth Property Services (SPS) client base. While the job comes with a wide variety of tasks, this person will be the individual responsible for completing more complex and difficult work orders.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Work with the maintenance field manager to complete more challenging work orders daily.

  • Communicate with the maintenance field manager to address any issues that occur during the completion of work orders.

  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members on an as needed basis, affording thorough follow up on work orders assigned.

  • Complete assigned work orders daily

  • Work schedule is from 8AM to 4:30 PM, daily, Monday thru Friday

Job Requirements
Qualifications and skills for this position include but are not limited to:

​

  • 5 years of a full range of maintenance experience (non-license required plumbing, electrical, carpentry, renovations, repairs, emergency responses, etc.)

  • Remarkable client interaction

  • Experience in working with maintenance teams.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of maintenance systems

  • Ability to work independently. 

  • Professionalism

  • Willingness to learn and work with new programs and technology

  • Self-starter and ability to multi-task

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Education/Experience

We prefer the candidate to have a high school degree and some college or trade school education. We require 5 years of successful experience as a Maintenance Tech I or related responsibilities.
